Wellbeing Walk and Talk


Date: Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 10.30 am - 12.00 pm


A Wellbeing Walk is being hosted by Debbie Horney of Remember Mindfulness on Tuesday, April 20.

This will start at The Old Forge Hygge Coffee Lounge, Ringmer, BN8 5NB, at 10.30am and run until noon.

A similar walk will be held, starting at Isfield Village Hall on Monday, June 21, from 12.30-2pm.

These free walk and talk sessions are aimed at those people experienced in mindfulness,  those interested in finding out more and those who would like to explore the countryside with other like-minded people.

Debbie says: “As you know, walking is extremely beneficial for well-being. It helps us to feel happier as the process of walking releases endorphins which boost emotions, confidence, mood and self-esteem.

“Walking with others has many additional benefits, the most essential at the moment is that feeling of being connected and the opportunity for social interaction.

“By joining these Walk and Talk sessions you will be improving your well-being and helping others to improve their well-being too – emotionally, socially as well as physically.

The sessions are free of charge, but booking is essential as places are limited in line with the Government guidelines.
