Uckfield Blues and Roots Festival – Sunday evening session
Location: The Highlands Inn Eastbourne Road Uckfield East Sussex TN22 5SP
Date: Sunday, July 28, 2019, 7.00 pm
Sam Brothers, Dan Burnett, and Aynsley Lister will perform at The Highlands Inn, during the last night of the Uckfield Blues and Roots Festival.
They will play from 7pm in the restaurant at The Highlands Inn.
Sam Brothers is a hugely talented young singer songwriter who performs a brilliant mix of folk and blues, including some of his great originals together with some classic old style blues.
Sam has already appeared at prestigious venues, often supporting The Pretty Things, and occasionally playing as part of The Pretty Things as he did at last year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
Sam will play at 7pm.
Dan Burnett was spoon-fed soul, blues, funk, and rock music from an early age, and began learning to play after receiving a keyboard for his third birthday. With his mother’s encouragement and father’s guidance, he was playing gigs before his teens in his Dad’s blues band throughout Yorkshire. From then on live performance became a way of life.
Dan will play at 8pm.
Whether writing and recording his own material or mesmerising audiences at his live shows one thing is abundantly clear: music is hard-wired to the DNA of Aynsley Lister. With over 86,000 albums sold, lashings of critical acclaim and years of high profile touring Lister’s resume speaks for itself and firmly secures his position as a leading light in the resurgence of British blues-infused music.
Aynsley is due to perform at 9.15pm.
