Katrina Parks enjoyed a walk along Seaford Seafront, borrowed a ‘twitcher’s’ binoculars to look at the Cormorants and then saw the Kittywakes nesting on the cliff.

She said: “Some nice additions with the new food pit stops (will try another day) oh and a group all playing the ukulele and singing Tom Jones’s ‘Deliah’.

Home Park at Sheffield Park is looked after by the National Trust but is free to enter. You can park in the car park (also free), says Karina Cat.

Following the sign posts you can choose to walk down to the Bluebell Railway to watch the trains,

Sunday funday and the bikes were out for a trip around Maresfield and Five Ash Down, says Lisa Lassman.

She and her family started at Lampool corner, though Maresfield Park, came out by the Chequers pub, then headed down Underhill (back road to Five Ash Down).

Ian Ballinger recommends a circular walk starting and finishing in Jevington.

He says it goes up onto the South Downs Way and drops down to Alfriston, along the river to Littlington (and the superb Plough & Harrow pub!) and returns via Friston Forest.
